I think I'm coming down with a cold. It just hit me what all the signs I've noticed today mean.
Earlier at work, I had a little cough. A little post-nasal drip thing goin' on. Really, really low-energy day. Wanted nothing more than to bail on the girls for the potluck tonight...but I'm really glad I didn't. Spending time with friends was really comforting and restorative.
But near the end of the evening I started feeling super, super tired. My left eye was leaking, I was rubbing my face and yawning. Could barely keep my eyes open on the five-minute drive home. It's only 10pm but it feels more like it's 4am.
And now it just hit me what all those things usually mean when they happen in me...a cold.
Arg!!! If I get sick now it'll be a disaster.
