Ugh

I'm sick. Blah.

Not deathly ill or anything...but sick enough to feel miserable.

My back had been achey for a few weeks and it finally went out on me last Tuesday. Driving home from a presentation in Truro I suddenly started feeling like a cold was coming on. The cold was nothing more than sniffles for a few days, but by Wednesday the back was really bad and kept me home from work for the next two days.

It let up almost entirely after that though. Still feels tender and weak, but there's no more pain. Now it's just this damn cold I'm fighting. And as it turns out, the cold and the back pain may have been related. A clerk at the grocery store told me he'd just gotten over a bad, long-lasting cold and had lower back pain with it. Weird...never heard of that before.

Anyway...I haven't put in a full day of work in over a week. Well, maybe last Friday - that was before the cold got really bad, but after the back pain went away.

LOL...I'm a basket case!

The reason I'm writing about all this is because it's just making me WANT TO GO HOOOOME!!! I can't preoccupy myself with work, and when I'm AT work, I can't concentrate and all I can think of is "I wish this was over so I could move home!!"

Blah. And I have to spend ten days in Saskatchewan starting next Tuesday. Double Blah. At least I'll have a car for most of it. But once that's done, I've got six weeks to waste before I can move home.

Ugh.
