Google Reader rocks

I'm a bit of an evangelist for one of Google's free tools called "Google Reader." With Reader, you can subscribe to as many blogs, newsfeeds or website updates as you like and very easily read and keep track of them all in one easy interface.

Even better, you can add a button to your web browser's toolbar called "Reader Next." Every time you click on it, it takes you to the next unread blog entry in your Reader list.

I have about 54 different blogs in my reader list, and maybe 20% of them have new entries each day, always a different mix, which makes it interesting and fun. Some of "my" blogs are about cooking or food, some are about the newspaper industry, some are just general interest. Most of them are just the personal blogs of local Ottawa people who I don't even know, but I like reading them because it gives me a little different perspective on this wonderful city that I live in.
