Ottawa again...where I live now. A view from the riverbank looking northeast toward the National Art Gallery (downtown is just out of the picture to the right). This pic will have to change in a couple of weeks, after I've moved to Dartmouth.

My favourite song... Keep on Loving Me Baby, by Colin James...what a cutie - even better-looking now that he's older.


My favourite smell... Mmmm, lily of the Valley. My grandmother had a whole bunch of them outside her kitchen window when I was a kid. Every year, when I'm able to find one, I snip off a tiny sprig of the blooming flowers and sniff them till the smell is gone. It's one of those smells that just gives me so much pleasure. A close second is the smell of cloves. The smell of a stuffed turkey baking is also pretty awesome.
